To Live Coram Deo-(Before The Face Of GOD)

There is a Reality More Constant than the air we breathe, More Inescapable than our own thoughts:

We live every moment Coram Deo--Before The Face Of GOD.

This is not poetic language.

It is the Unrelenting Testimony of Scripture.

God is Not distant, Nor Intermittently Attentive.

He does not observe in fragments.

His gaze is Perfect, Immediate, and Total.

Before Him, there is No division between Public and Private life.

The Hidden life is the Genuine life, because it is lived Entirely In His Sight.

To forget this, is the Root of much Sin.

Sin grows in the Illusion of secrecy.

It persuades the heart that what is Concealed is safe--that what is Unseen is insignificant.

But Coram Deo shatters that deception.

Every motive, every desire, every unspoken thought, stands fully exposed before the thrice Holy One.

Nothing is trivial in His presence. To the Christian, this truth is both comforting and transforming.

To live Coram Deo-(Before the face of God) is to live with a Holy Awareness that shapes the inner life.

It presses Integrity into the soul.

It demands that Righteousness extend Beyond Outward Behavior, into the Unseen Depths Of The Heart.

It calls for a Life that Does Not Perform For Human Approval, but is Ordered Entirely Before God.

This is the dividing line between superficial religion and true godliness.

The Hypocrite Adjusts his Behavior for the Eyes of Others.

The Genuine believer lives for the Eye and Approval of God.

Coram Deo-(Before the Face of God) rightly understood, will Crush Self-Righteousness.

It exposes that even our best moments fall short of the glory of God.

No one can stand in God's presence on their own merit.

Apart from Jesus, God is a Consuming Fire! Truly, God is the Best friend, but the Worst enemy!

For those who are in Jesus, Coram Deo-(Before the Face of God) changes how we live.

A sense of God's presence will Restrain us from evil, and Urge us toward Holiness.

Since God is at our elbow, how dare we indulge sin?

We do not pursue holiness to earn God's favor, but because we are accepted in our Beloved, Jesus.

We do not hide from God's presence--we draw near to it.

And yet, we dare not treat that nearness casually.

To live Coram Deo-(Before the Face of God) is to live with Reverence, Sincerity, and Holy Devotion; consciously before His Holy face, under His Authority, and for His Glory.

Since God Sees Our Every Thought, Motive, and Action Then How Should We Live?

A life Stripped of Pretense.

Choosing Purity when no one else sees.

Speaking Truth when deception would be easier.

Guarding the Heart, not just the external behavior.

Ordering life around what pleases God, Not what impresses people.

Isa 41:10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

If I Could Hear Jesus Praying For Me In The Next Room

Heb 7:24 But this man, because he Continueth ever, hath an Unchangeable priesthood. Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to Save them to the Uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

The priesthood of Jesus is unlike anything this world has ever known. Earthly priests came and went, bound by mortality and sin.

But Jesus, the Sinless Son of God, Lives Forever. His priesthood is Permanent, Unchanging, and Perfect.

And because He lives forever, He is Able to Save Completely. Not partially. Not temporarily. Completely. From the Deepest guilt; from the Power of sin to the Punishment it deserves--He is Mighty to save.

No believer is ever beyond His reach.
No sin is too dark for His Cleansing blood.
No soul is too entangled in sin for His Delivering hand.

This complete salvation flows from a wondrous truth: He always lives to intercede for His chosen and redeemed people

Even now, in this very moment--Jesus is interceding for US.

He is not pleading for mercy as one who is uncertain of the outcome. Rather, as the crucified and risen Savior, He presents His perfect Sin-Atoning Sacrifice before the Father. His nail-scarred hands are the eternal evidence that...The Price has been paid in full, The wrath of God has been Satisfied,  Justice has been upheld, and His Mercy flows freely.

We are Not Kept by our Own Power, but By the Power of GOD.

If we had to keep ourselves, we would be like the spider's web--swept away by the first rough wind of temptation or persecution.

The saints shall never perish. They are not only saved, but safe. They are not only pardoned, but preserved.

The same grace that Chose them and Redeemed them--also Secures them to the end!

If I could hear Jesus praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies.

Yet distance makes no difference--He is praying for me. What comfort this brings to every believer.

When our prayers falter, His do not. When our faith is weak, His intercession is Strong.

When Satan accuses, Jesus speaks.

We do not stand before God on the strength of our own performance, but on the everlasting merit of our High Priest.

Our Priest lives; and while He lives, His people are safe.

The Unchangeable Christ is the Rock of our confidence.
