No School Like GODS School!

Oh there is No school like God's school...

For "who teaches like Him?"

And God's Highest School is the School Of Trial.

All his true scholars have graduated from this school.

Who are these who are clothed in white?

Where do they come from?

These are the Ones Coming Out of the Great Tribulation.

They washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and made them white.

Rev 7:13  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Rev 7:14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Blessed is the man, O Lord, whom you chasten and teach out of your law.

Ask each spiritually, Deeply-Taught Christian, where he attained his knowledge...

And he will Point You to God's Great University...the School Of Trial.

How To Wait

Dan 12:12  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

It may seem an easy thing to wait, but it is one of the postures which a Christian soldier Learns Not without Years of teaching.

Marching and quick-marching are much easier to God's warriors than Standing Still.

There are hours of perplexity when the most willing spirit, anxiously desirous to serve the Lord, knows not what part to take.

Then what shall it do?

Vex itself by despair?

Fly back in cowardice, turn to the right hand in fear, or rush forward in presumption?

No, But Simply Wait.

Wait In Prayer, However.

Call upon God and spread the case before Him; tell Him your difficulty, and plead His promise of aid.

Wait In Faith.

Express your Unstaggering Confidence in Him.

Believe that if He keep you tarrying even till midnight, yet He Will Come at the Right time; the Vision Shall Come, and Shall Not Tarry.

Wait In Quiet Patience.

Never murmur against the second cause, as the children of Israel did against Moses.

Accept the case as it is, and put it as it stands, simply and with your whole heart, without any self-will, into the hand of your covenant God, saying, "Now, Lord, not my will, but Thine be done.

I know not what to do; I am brought to extremities; but I will wait until Thou shalt Cleave The Floods, or Drive Back my foes.

I will wait, if Thou keep me many a day, for my heart is Fixed upon Thee alone, O God, and my spirit Waiteth for Thee in full conviction that Thou wilt yet be My Joy and My Salvation, My Refuge and My Strong Tower."

~Morning by Morning

Wait patiently wait, God never is late;

Thy budding plans are in Thy Father's holding, And only wait His grand divine unfolding.

Then wait, wait, Patiently wait.

Trust, hopefully trust, That God will adjust Thy tangled life; and from its dark concealings, Will bring His will, in all its bright revealings.

Then trust, trust, Hopefully trust.

Rest, peacefully rest On thy Saviour's breast;

Breathe in His ear thy sacred high ambition, And He will bring it forth in blest fruition.

Then rest, rest, Peacefully rest!

The Astonishing Love Of Jesus For Us!

There is No Greater wonder in all the universe than this: that the Infinitely Holy Son of God would set His heart upon Vile, Guilty, Hell-deserving sinners.

While we were Still Sinners, Christ died for us!

Not when we were seeking Him.

Not when we were repenting.

Not when we were bettering ourselves.

But while we were Rebels, with hearts full of Enmity against Him, He Loved Us Still.

Rom 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Paul, once a Blasphemer and Persecutor of Christ's church, could only marvel: "Christ Jesus came into the world to Save Sinners of whom I am the worst!"

1Ti 1:15  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to Save Sinners; of whom I am chief.

So it is with all who have been given eyes to see their corruption, and hearts to feel their need.

When we Know ourselves rightly, we are utterly Astonished that Jesus would save such ungodly ones as ourselves.

Our salvation was not the fruit of our seeking, but of His. For the Son of Man came to Seek and to Save those who are Lost!

Luk 19:10  For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

It was the Overflowing of His Sovereign, Unmerited Love.

Dead in Sin, Blind In Mind, Corrupt In Heart..Yet He Loved us, and by His Great Mercy Made us Spiritually Alive.

Eph 2:4  But God, who is Rich in Mercy, for his Great Love wherewith he Loved us,

Eph 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, hath Quickened us together with Christ, (by Grace ye are saved;)

What Love Is This, That Stooped So Low?

He was Pierced for our Transgressions, He was Crushed for our Iniquities.

Isa 53:5  But he was Wounded for our Transgressions, he was Bruised for our Iniquities: the Chastisement of our Peace was upon him; and with his Stripes we are Healed.

The Pure and Spotless Lamb bore the Filth and Condemnation of our Sin.

He who Knew NO sin, was Made Sin For Us, so that in Him, we might become the Righteousness of God.

2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew No sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

It was not out of obligation, but out of sheer Grace.

When the Kindness and Love of God our Savior appeared, He Saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His Mercy.

Tit 3:4  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

Tit 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he Saved us, by the Washing of Regeneration, and Renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Christian! Jesus Loved you Before The World Began, He Loves you Now, and He will Love you Forever!

His Love for you is Unfathomable, it is as Boundless as Infinity.

Oh, The Precious Love Of Jesus!

It is the sun in the heavens of grace, the river in the garden of mercy, and the foundation of the temple of redemption!

The Love of Jesus is the Most Amazing thing under Heaven, if not in Heaven itself.

Oh, What A Savior Is Ours!

His Love is Not Shallow or Sentimental, it is a Love that Bleeds, and Bears Wrath.

It Is A Love That Will Never Let Us Go.

It is a Love that Astonishes us now, and will be our Wonder and Song for All Eternity.

Let Every Believing Heart Fall Low In Worship.

Let Every Mouth Confess: To Him Who Loves Us And Has Freed Us From Our Sins By His Blood...

To Him Be Glory And Power For Ever And Ever! Amen.

He Never Fails

Joshua 1:5  There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I Will be with thee: I Will Not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

This word to Joshua is often quoted; it is the basis of that New Testament word "He hath said, I will Never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Beloved, a life of warfare is before us, but the LORD of Hosts IS with us.

Are we called to lead a great but fickle people?

This promise guarantees us all the wisdom and prudence that we shall need.

Have we to contend with cunning and powerful enemies?

Here is Strength and Valor, Courage and Victory.

Have we a vast heritage to win?

By this sign we shall achieve our purpose; the LORD Himself is with us.

It would be woe to us indeed if Jehovah could fail us; but, as this can Never be, the winds of disquietude are laid to sleep in the caverns of divine faithfulness.

On No one occasion will the LORD desert us.

Happen what may, He Will be at our side.

Friends drop from us, their help is but an April shower; but GOD is Faithful, Jesus is the same forever, and the Holy Spirit Abideth in us.

Come, my heart, be Calm and Hopeful today.

Clouds may gather, but the LORD can blow them away.

Since God will Not fail me, my faith shall Not fail; and as He will Not forsake me, neither will I forsake Him.

Oh, for a Restful faith!

There Are Seasons

There are seasons in the lives of all when it is not easy...

Not even for Christians, to believe that God is faithful.

Our faith is sorely tried...

Our eyes dimmed with tears...

And we can no longer trace the outworking of His love.

Our ears are distracted with the noises of the world...

Harassed by the atheistic whisperings of Satan...

And we can no longer hear the sweet accents of His still small voice.

Cherished plans have been thwarted...

Friends on whom we have relied have failed us...

A professed brother or sister in Christ has betrayed us...

We are staggered.

We sought to be faithful to God...

And now a dark cloud hides Him from us.

We find it difficult, yes, impossible, for carnal reason to harmonize His frowning providence with His gracious promises.

Ah, faltering soul, seek grace to heed Isaiah 50:10...

Isa 50:10  Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

Home Blessings

He fears the LORD, and therefore he comes under the Divine Protection even as to the roof which covers himself and his family.

His home is an abode of love, a school of holy training, and a place of heavenly light.

In it there is a Family Altar where the Name of the LORD is daily had in Reverence.

Therefore the LORD Blesses his habitation.

It may be a humble cottage or a lordly mansion; but the LORD's blessing comes because of the Character of the inhabitant and not because of the size of the dwelling.

That house is most Blest in which the master and mistress are Godfearing people; but a son or daughter or even a servant may bring a Blessing on a whole household.

The LORD often Preserves, Prospers, and Provides for a family for the sake of one or two in it, who are "Just" persons in His esteem, because His Grace has made them so.

Beloved, let us have Jesus for our Constant Guest even as the sisters of Bethany had, and then we shall be Blessed indeed.

Let us look to it that in all things we are just -- in our trade, in our judgment of others, in our treatment of neighbors, and in our own personal character.

A Just GOD cannot Bless Unjust transactions.

~Charles Spurgeon
